The Sky Ridge MOB III Building is located on the HealthONE Sky Ridge Medical Center Campus in Lone Tree, Colorado. The 4-story building has a partial walk-out basement. Designed as a Risk Category IV facility, the building houses a pediatric emergency department, ambulatory surgery center and suites for private physician practice groups, clinics and treatment centers. Structural Consultants, Inc. provided comprehensive structural design services for the MOB III building from conception to final completion of the project.

The main structural system for the facility is a composite steel frame. Steel braced frames provide lateral support for the superstructure. The exterior wall framing system is constructed with cold formed steel studs backing an intricately articulated exterior masonry veneer. The building is founded on a drilled pier and grade beam foundation system. Due to expansive soils at the site, structural floors are provided at the Level 1 and basement floors.
