100 Saint Paul is a 150,000 square foot, 8-story office/retail building located in the Cherry Creek neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The building has a 150,000 square foot, 3-story below-grade parking garage and features a 9,000 square foot outdoor amenity deck at Level 2. Structural Consultants, Inc. provided comprehensive structural design services for 100 Saint Paul from conception to final completion of the project.

The main structural system for the building is a composite steel frame that incorporates a system of steel braced frames for lateral support of the superstructure. One of the unique architectural features of the building is a circular “rotunda” at the southwest corner overlooking 1st Avenue. The structure was framed so that the rotunda and the offices/balconies at the northeast and northwest corners of the building are free of view-impeding columns. The exterior envelope of the building consists of curtainwall, precast concrete panels and cold formed steel studs backing stone veneer, metal panel and stucco finishes.  The elevated floors of the below-grade parking garage are mild-reinforced concrete slabs. The building is supported on a drilled pier foundation system.
